Myanmar – Monastery Education School |
The 134 children housed in the institute receive room, board, and an adequate education. The conditions of the children, in light of their unhappy past, are good thanks to the extreme care provided by the monks of the monastery. The annual fee requested for the support of one child is approximately Euro 200, with a minimum commitment of three years and allows the support of the child and covers medical and scholastic expenses. The Butterfly Foundation non-profit will emit a document valid for tax purposes (Dlgs 460/97) directly to those who commit to the adoption of a child, and the Foundation will assume responsibility for correspondence by sending periodic information regarding the health of the child and his scholastic progress made possible by the monetary donations received. |
