At the village of Ampassindava, Nosy Be island, Madagascar the required medical care of 40 patients per day is practised inside an old fashioned container, located at a school compound of 1300 children. Besides the daily practices of first aid, surgeries and medicines supply, all of them granted for free, deliveries are currently carried out at the cost of €. 250,00.
Butterfly foundation already completed two schools in Madagascar for the benefit of a few hundred children at Nosy Be island.
This year we decided to build an 85 square metres concrete dispensary that will include a waiting area, consultation and medical room and a room for deliveries. This project will further support the activities that our friend Manina Consiglio is carrying out for over 20 years in such a beautiful area of the world.
Construction works are presently in progress and will be completed in early spring 2020. The opening of this project will hopefully take place on JUNE 2021.
Our friends Renato and Daniela Collodoro and their customers will be the donors of this dispensary, as they have already been in the past, allowing the implementation of several projects in Ethiopia, in the frame of their “charity hosting” at RISTO’- La trattoria del buon Mangiare.
