Butterfly Foundation, thanks to the donation of HOTELPLAN ITALIA, designed and built a primary school at IVATO, a small village close to Antananarivo, the capital city of Madagascar
A portion of the old building, almost destroyed by a fire, was rebuilt entirely while e new wing has been designed and constructed.
The school, named Saint Joseph, hosting almost 300 students, was officially opened on November 13th 2004.
In addition to the school construction, a convenient number of restrooms and a canteen have also been provided.
The foundation’S local partner RTM ( REGGIO TERZO MONDO), has carried out the project.
