The project was completed on February 9th, 2012, and the opening ceremony has been attended by H.E., the bishop of Tigray Region, H.E. Abune Tesfaselassie.
The funds made available allowed the renovation of the five existing classrooms and the construction of three new ones, latrines, and fencing of the school located in Genhati, Genta Afesum district, close to the water well already drilled thanks to Butterfly donors.
All classrooms have been provided with furnishing.
The beneficiaries are 758 students and 21 teachers.
