On February 10, 2012, in the village of Adi-Qsho, in the Administrative Province of Saesie Tsaeda Emba, Tigray Regional State, Ethiopia, in the presence of the village population that, after ritual songs and dances to express joy and gratitude for their gift, had wanted to light a candle in memory of Rita Federica, a well was installed which is operated with a hand pump and a depth of 60 meters.
The beneficiaries were calculated to be 95 families which are equal to 550 people.
The families who will benefit from the well belong to predominantly rural communities, and in at least a third of the families, a woman is the head of the household.
It is estimated that at least 300 of the beneficiaries are women, children, and elders. “
