As part of the “Donate Water” scheme, which has been made possible through the partnership established between Butterfly Charity Foundation and ECC-SDCOAd, (Catholic Association of Adigrat), several projects water-related, are presently under progress in Tigray and Afar region, North of the country at the border with Eritrea.
Thanks to Filippo Leandro Benvenuti bequest, the foundation could officially grant the renovation of the water supply at the Ahzera school that was out of order for 10 years. A new electric pump with a generator, 8 water distribution points for students, 4 water distribution points for the school staff and 4 distribution points dedicated to the 600 people of the village have been secured on February 3rd 2019, during the official opening of this project.
A grinding mill has been supplied as well for the benefit of the people and the income of the school. A special thank to our specialdonor !!
