On June 17, 2011, thanks to the funds made available by the Butterfly Foundation by TRIS CAR CLUB of Arzignano, in the presence of the entire village, a water well was installed, operated with a hand pump, near the village of ENDA MIKAEL.
This well will give water to more than 500 people and was drilled at a depth of 67 meters.
The village of Enda Mikael is found in Irob Woreda about 60 km northeast of Adigrat, Tigray Region, and it is particularly arid and difficult to access; the population lives on sustenance farming.
