In the frame of the “Donate the water ” scheme, out of the partnership established between ADCS and Butterfly foundation, on June 16th 2011, a water well has been opened, at GERA WEDIZERAY. The well, dedicated by Ilario‘s parents, Monica and Oriano, to their beloved son, who died in a car crash.,has been drilled at a depth of 55 metres and operated by a hand pump.
The total number of beneficiaries of this well is in the range of some 360 individuals in addition to the people living in the neighbourhood who will benefit as well of this water after having spent many years drinking dirty water together with their animals.
A lot of people attended the opening celebrations and expressed their deep gratitude for such a generous action undertaken by Ilario‘s parents.
