The water well located in Gola, Genta Afeshum district, Tigray Region, Ethiopia, has been selected as a priority for rehabilitation since it has been dry for several years.
Manuela and Riccardo Valzorio donated fresh, potable water to over 400 people in memory of their son, Luchino.
The people living in the area were obliged to drink polluted water with their livestock.
The official opening of this well took place on June 21st 2025.
