Glauco Magnelli, who had already financed two water wells in the region, decided to support the implementation cost of a water well located at KAGA, in Gulomekada district, Tigray Region, Ethiopia.
The rehabilitation works involved the removal and replacement of all existing pipes to a depth of 52 metres, far below the new water level, the supply of a new hand-operated pump and the fencing.
The official opening took place on June 20th 2025, and the well is dedicated to the Baldini family: Lando, Olga, Rossella, and Francesca
