Over 800.000 people died in the Tigray Region, while hundreds of thousands were obliged to leave their homes during the recent long war. The people are still fighting for survival due to the lack of clean water. Among the immediate priorities, our partner suggested rehabilitating the SENDEDA school water well.
Thanks to Luigi Bicego‘s generosity, clean and potable water has been made available to 400 people.
The official opening of this water well, dedicated to Pina, Luigi’s grandmother, took place on June 16th 2025.
