The Butterfly Foundation is willing to proceed with its mission to bring water to remote areas of the Tigray Region, following the recent war that destroyed several water points, forcing people to travel long distances to fetch clean, potable water.
Thanks to the financial support of Andrea and Chiara Landi, relatives, friends, and supporters of the Luccchese football team, a fundraising is currently underway to rehabilitate the water well at Azzera school at Debre Mihret village, in memory of Nicola Landi, who passed away last August 2025.
The beneficiaries will be 990 students plus their families.
The cost of the project includes new piping, fencing, and a new pump in addition to the foreseen training for its operation. is €. 4.800.
