On the 14th June 2011, the Butterfly Foundation opened a building for volunteers of the Associazione Volontari l’Accoglienza within a compound belonging to the diocese of Adigrat. The compound also has an elementary school with hygiene facilities and a nursery.
The structure was completed in around 3 months with 3 large bedrooms, a living and dining room, a kitchen and hygiene facilities. ACDS took care of the building’s construction, surrounded by a large garden of around 100 square metres.
