The project, promoted by the Butterfly Foundation, foresees the presence in Forlì, in four weeks, of seventy students of the Virginia Tech, based in Blacksburg, Virginia.
Such an international project involves the “Istituto Comprensivo IV ” with the primary schools “Alessandro Manzoni” and “Dante Alighieri”, as well the secondary school “Piero Maroncelli”.
During school and extra time, the US students are working together with the school’s teachers, making available to the Italian and a good portion of immigrated students, their skills and comprehensive knowledge of English to develop their capability of expression and understanding of a foreign language.

The presence of Virginia Tech students intends to favour the education, the understanding and respect of different life attitudes, opinions and behaviours.
The intent of Butterfly Foundation, always on the first raw, when education and inclusion have to be promoted, has been the one to widen the training for the social and cultural growth of the pupils.
We thank Professor David Brinberg for his decision to include Forli destination in the Linking lives project and to all the participants for their precious work.
