Awlie-Mogesse water well

A new well drilled to a depth of 50 meters and working via a hand pump was inaugurated on December 18, 2011, in the area of Awlie-Mogesse, Saesie Tsaeda Emba Woreda, in the Tigray region in the presence of approximately 200 people.

The well is properly fenced and provides water for animals.

Including the communities of bordering villages, the families who will benefit from the well include approximately 380 people that belong to predominantly rural communities: in at least a third of these households, the woman is the primary breadwinner.
