The project, completely financed by ARCA Group Cesena, in the frame of the ”Make a loving gesture: donate the water “ campaign, promoted in 2017 through A&O and FAMILA sales points, foresaw the rehabilitation of six dry water wells in the district of GULOMEKADA, Tigray region.
This initiative has been made possible thanks to the partnership established between Butterfly Charity Foundation and ADCS.
The rehabilitation of the GOHO water well dried up since a few years, the supply of new extended pipes to reach the depth of 56 metres, a brand new pump, fencing and training of the Water and Sanitation Committee, in accordance with running practice, has been duly completed and the official opening of the well took place on November 14th 2017.
The beneficiaries of the well are approx. 450 individuals.
