In the frame of the “Donate the water” scheme” in place among Butterfly foundation and its local technical partner A.D.C.S., a water well has been drilled at DENDERA, Gentafeshum province, Tigray region, Ethiopia, based on the local people long dated requests.
The beneficiaries are in the range of 1.800 inhabitants including 550 students attending the nearby school.
The project has been financed by Francesca & Marco with funds they received for the occasion of their marriage in June 2013. The well has been opened in December 2013 during their honeymoon travel.
