The “Donate the Water” scheme has been made possible through the partnership between the Butterfly Charity Foundation and ECC-SDOAd-B (Catholic Association of Adigrat) to implement several water-related projects. The above is in the context of the recent severe drought, the worst in recent years.
A water well that had been completely dry for several years has been rehabilitated in the village of MAY NEGISTI in Gulomekada district in Tigray region, Ethiopia, thanks to the funds made available by HERA SPA AND HERA COMM, together with their customers and employees in the frame of their HERASOLIDALE campaign.
The number of expected beneficiaries is in the range of 500 people.
