The project, dedicated to Abraham, who died after a long illness, was recently completed and the water well delivered to a population largely composed of Abraham’s friends and acquaintances, a few meters from the house where he used to live. His siblings and friends had a big party at Abraham’s old house.
The well, at 70 meters deep, was installed on 9 February 2012 in the village of Wellele, Hayelom Tabia, in the Administrative Province of Hawzen, Tigray Regional State, Ethiopia. The beneficiary families predominantly belong to rural communities and there are only 60 of them for a total of about 350 people.
The execution of the drilling and installation of the hand pump was entrusted, as always, to ADCS of Adigrat.”
