On February 8th, 2012 one water has been drilled in Weratle, Irob Woreda, Tigray Regional State / Ethiopia .
Our long-dated friends, Carlo and Dede, through the Associazione Volontari l’Accoglienza, funded this project as well and dedicated the same to their son Marco, who passed away. The well, drilled at a depth of 60 metres, is operated with a hand pump for easy maintenance.
The beneficiaries of this project are 400 people approx.
