Following the implementation of a deepwater well in Guder, Southern Nations Nationalities region, Ethiopia, drilled in the area of the orphanage and primary school managed by the sisters of St. Anne’s Daughter’s congregation, that took place in November 2010, the Butterfly Foundation has been requested to additionally support these people.
A new project consisting of 20 water distribution points for the 1000 kids attending the kindergarten and primary school in addition to the 80 girls of the orphanage has been funded and implemented accordingly.
The official opening of this project took place in June 2011.
