These are the name of boys asking for our attention, help and the love they have been obliged to forget since a long time.
Many came from far away Countries or next door, but still united by a complicated past, made out of wars, abandonment, misunderstandings, domestic violence, wrong companionships and dangerous friendships.
They are not accountable for any responsibility, and our mission of educators is to give them a hand to grow and, as far as possible, provide them with a sense of family, home, and sense of belonging. We need to make them trust themselves.
When they reach the age of eighteen, we cannot keep them in our residential communities and must leave them alone, with no title or any useful reference to merit a small apartment lease contract.
The ALBATROS project intends to offer to six of our young men, obliged to leave our residential and educational structures, the opportunity to have a roof at least for 12 months, up to the moment they will be able to work and sustain themselves.
We wish to rent a large furnished apartment and to be able to secure to all of them, temporarily, good support and assistance to find a job. The number of our supported guests will be revolving each year.
WE ASK ANY AND ALL GENEROUS PEOPLE TO SUPPORT THIS PROJECT AND TO CONSIDER THESE KIDS AS THEIR KIDS IN NEED OF IMMEDIATE HELP.
