Following the financial support secured by the Associazione Libera Condivisione, based in Montemarciano (AN), our local partner ECC-SDOAd-B rehabilitated a water well that had been completely dry for a few years. The well is inside the Sendaya school compound in the Province of Genta Afeshum, Tigray region, Ethiopia.
The well counts 1025 beneficiaries.
The rehabilitation work included installing a new hand–operated pump and piping to reach the latest water level and fencing to protect the water collection.
The project was officially opened on 6 March 2025.
The headmaster required thirty additional school benches, a latrine block, and sports materials such as shoes, T-shirts, and balls.
