The fifth-year edition of the “Give the water..make a loving gesture” 2015 campaign, promoted by ARCA GROUP Spa. under A&O and Famila brands has been again a great success thanks to over 16.000 donors.
45.000 euro have been collected at the 90 sales points of Emilia Romagna and Marche Regions. Arca Spa. completed the required financing of the project, to be implemented in Madagascar, Melaky and Tsiroanomandidy districts and once again entrusted to Butterfly Foundation.
A primary school, built in accordance with the architectural standard foreseen for primary schools in the Country and attended by 500 pupils has been completed and officially opened on June 24th 2016 at Ambatomainty, Melaky district. The school consists of three large classrooms for the kids and one room for the teachers. In addition, a toilet block has been built for the kids and teachers.
The project has been implemented by Butterfly Foundation and locally coordinated by the Marie Magnificat Congregation of Tsiroanomandidy that will take due care to run the school and the kindergarten.
