In the frame of the “Donate the water” scheme on June 4th 2013, the Butterfly Foundation inaugurated the water well of Akuren in the province of SasieTsaemba, in the Tigray region.
This well, drilled at a depth of 70 metres and operated by a hand pump, has been dedicated, like several previous ones to Ilario, a young man who passed away following a car accident.
The beneficiaries are 360 people living in the area.
