Upon the urgent request received by ADCS ( Adigrat Catholic Secretariat) Butterfly foundation succeeded to make available the required funds in order to complete the construction of a toilet building to be used by male and female students as well as by the teachers of the Kidane Mehret primary school based in Tigray Region, Irob province.
The Government, in accordance with the regulations in force, was seeking to provide the school with toilet facilities and failing the above, would have been obliged to close the school, sheltering 420 students, as not complying with the said requirements.
On November 16th 2017 the required latrines of the Kidane Mehret primary school have been officially opened with an extraordinary attendance by all the students that will be able to proceed with their education.
