In the frame of “Donate the water project” initiated thanks to the cooperation established among Butterfly Foundation, Vo l’A charity Association based in Caselle (TO) and ADCS ( Adigrat Catholic Secretariat), the water well of MOMONA, directly financed by Mr Renato Collodoro, in the name of the customers of his restaurants “ I Ristori del Buon Mangiare ” Osteria Mezzaluna & Ristorante Oryza based in Torino, has been officially opened on February 1st 2015.
The well, located at the tabia of BATI-MYMESANU, Dikue district, has been drilled at the depth of 65 meters and is operated by a hand pump, chosen for its easy maintenance.
The output water has been confirmed to be clean and potable.
Beneficiaries of the well are 55 households equal to approx. 330 individuals.
