During our last trip to the Tigray Region, we received several requests for drilling and rehabilitating water wells destroyed during the war or simply dry. After two years of war and drought, the people’s situation is still exceptionally dire.
After the opening of the Kiten Ruba water well, Fabio and Giulia Divino decided to renew their commitment to implementing a second water well in this area in memory of their bellowed son, Edoardo. Four hundred and fifteen people of the May Kuakoy village finally have access to potable water close to their villages, and several women are no longer obliged to walk miles to collect polluted water.
