Thanks to the funds made available by Daniela and Renato Collodoro, through charity dinners regularly scheduled at their restaurants in Torino and Vo l’A association, based in Caselle (TO) it has been possible to open two duly furnished KG and elementary school classrooms to shelter approximately 100 students and 6 teachers.
The above was one of the regional Government priorities in the remote area of Irob province bordering with Eritrea since, at the previous facility, constructed by the local people and made out of stones, the children did not even have enough school benches where to properly seat.
The opening ceremony took place on November 10th 2018 and all the people of the Abe village attended with great joy and satisfaction. A few suitcases with stationaries, toys and garments have been delivered to the teachers for distribution to the neediest children.
