The Tigray Region has been facing a drought not seen for forty years. Among the several requests for rehabilitation of dry water wells, we selected the water well located at Egri Ferah, Tsaeda Emba province, Hangoda district, based on the following priorities.

Clean water will be available in a month, with the opening scheduled for February 2026.
The rehabilitation will include a new hand-operated pump, new piping to reach the current water level, and fencing to ensure the well’s security.
The well is dedicated to ALBERTO, MAURO, SARA, ROBERTO AND LUCA.
