The water well of Endaruba was indicated as a priority among the wells to be rehabilitated in Ethiopia, the Tigray Region, and the Gulomekada district in Ethiopia.
This well has been rehabilitated with new pipes and a pump to a depth of 20 metres to guarantee potable water to some 785 people in the village, not to mention the beneficiaries of the nearby villages; the implementation of this well is vital for the dwellers of this dry area following the long period of famine and two years of war.
The project is dedicated to Edoardo, a young boy who recently passed away and is guiding the steps of people who loved him on Earth. The water well was inaugurated on March 8, 2025.
