The requests to rehabilitate dry water wells are increasing daily, as many villages are without water sources besides polluted drivers. Several wells have been damaged or destroyed during the recent war in the Tigray region.
After funding the ADI NARAE water well in memory of her husband, Roberto Guseo, Raffaella Panelli decided to renew the gift of potable water to the local population. Together with her brother Claudio, she funded the rehabilitation of the GOLGOL GIBRI well in the Tsaeda Emba district. This well is dedicated to Raffaella and Claudio’s parents, Eliseo Panelli and Caterina Baselli, who recently passed away.
This water well benefits 600 people. The official opening took place on November 18th 2024
