Several water-related projects are underway in the Tigray region, North of the country at the border with Eritrea, under the “Donate the Water” scheme, which has been made possible through the partnership established between the Butterfly Charity Foundation and ECC-SDOAd-B (Catholic Association of Adigrat) to implement several water-related projects.
A water well, completely dry for several years, already in operation, following its rehabilitation works has been officially opened at the village of KEYAH KINFE, Tsaeda Emba district in Tigray region, Ethiopia, on July 28 2023, thanks to the funds made available by the Zorzetto family.
The delay was motivated by the COVID-19 pandemic and a war that lasted two years which did not enable any possible travelling
The well is dedicated to the Alpini Veneto Team and the number of beneficiaries is in the range of 250 people.
