This project has been implemented thanks to the generosity shown by members of the Gruppo Aurora Assicurazioni S.p.a. This particular branch of teaching is a step towards helping children at risk of becoming a low paid workforce. The technical and logistical support of the New Humanity Focsiv association, which has already been present in the company for some years, was critical to creating this school.
The structure fitted in very well with the local architecture and was built in only three months with 6 big classrooms and separate hygiene facilities. “
This school was constructed in Kaungh-to, near the rural community of Nord Hti Bua in the province of Pinlaung in the state of Shan in Birmania. The village is made up of 200 families, and around 1000 families live in the rural community.
Around 250 children aged between 5 and 15 years old, who had no choice but to travel many kilometres to attend school, can now count on the new secondary school structure and the restoration of the existing elementary school.
