Due to the increasing number of students, the local Government appointed a contractor for the construction of three additional classrooms close to the school already built by Butterfly Foundation thanks to the contribution of Antonella Rizzo Salerno e Lamberto Gonzato; the result has been so bad that the children did not intend to attend the lessons due to water leakage and serious risk of the roof collapsing. Following the above, in February 2019, we have officially been asked to take over the funding and renovation of these two badly built classrooms and to build a new one.
On November 11th 2019, three years exactly from the date of our first project, we could officially open three additional well-equipped and furnished classrooms for the joy of these students. The above is thanks to the funds made available by Herrod Foundation based in Montreux (Switzerland), as well as by Leandro Filippo Benvenuti through his bequest.
